Board Positions Available

Board Positions Available for 2014-2015

We have a few board positions available for the 2014-2015 term, open to all current and future PAGE members. While the term is for the 2014-2015 academic year, we would like the new board members to begin participating this summer.

Secretary

• Supervise official correspondence, reports and keep minutes of all board meetings.
• Reserve facility space for board meetings.
• Provide organization information updates, if needed.
• Attend Guilford County PAGE board meetings.
• Official voting member of Guilford County PAGE executive board (along with the president, vice president and treasurer).
• Time commitment is 3 – 4 hours per month.

Advocacy Chair

• Stay abreast of the impact of AG programming at the local, state and national levels, and make updates to the Guilford County PAGE board.
• With executive board approval, design and coordinate implementation of advocacy strategy, as needed.
• With executive board approval, engage state or local officials, the Guilford County Board of Education or county school system administrators, as needed.
• Attend Guilford County PAGE board meetings.
• Time commitment is 2 – 4 hours per month.
