Newsletter Submissions

Submission Guidelines

Your submissions are greatly appreciated.  Please help us by following these guidelines.  We reserve the right to edit for length.  You will be contacted if we have any questions or concerns regarding your submission.

Editorial Submissions

  • Length:  300 words or less
  • Attributions and hyperlinks are recommended to support and extend content.
  • Word documents only.
  • Any accompanying image(s) should be free of copyright restrictions and in JPG or PNG format.

Kids’ Corner

  • Original work by a current student of Guilford County Schools.
  • Word documents and/or images as JPG or PNG formats only.
  • Include student’s first name, initial of last name, grade level and school.

Calendar Events

  • Event Name/Title
  • Date and Time
  • Location (include a map or link to one, if possible)
  • Brief description in 25 words or less
  • Any accompanying image(s) should be free of copyright restrictions and in JPG or PNG format.
  • Deadline for calendar events is the 24th of the month prior to the newsletter issue month.
